Connect with Profitable Customers

In order to make a real connection with your customers, you have to look at things from THEIR point of view.

Do your marketing materials focus on the BENEFITS of your product or service instead of the FEATURES that may be more important to you? No one really cares if your team has a “combined 100 years in the business” but they do want to know “how are you going to help me be more profitable or productive?”

Once you determine that there is a NEED for your product or service, make sure that you deliver a good value PLUS.

Don’t forget a strong call to action or incentive. Everyone loves a good deal, especially in a “soft” economy.

Whatever you do, make sure you have a regular COMMUNICATION CHANNEL with both current and potential customers. Just like “plastics” was the word in the move “The Graduate” in the 1960′s, “communication” is the word in today’s 24/7 global economy.
